Oogave Soda Line Review

Oogave is a relatively new line of organic sodas. Besides the classics like Cola, Root Beer, and ginger ale, they bring some new and interesting flavors that could revolutionize the soda game.
The question remains: is it all hype wrapped up in a pretty package or did Oogave truly have something unique to offer?

The Cola had provided more than enough flavor to beat out any of the classic commercial brands. I am not sure if I would drink it over Q Kola but I would like to do a side by side comparison in the future.

Vanilla. What can be said if you get this wrong then its probably time to give up the soda game. Its rich and creamy with lively carbonation but yet doesn’t overwhelm the palate.

The Root Beer was also good but my least favorite out of all the flavors offered by , which for me was a little disappointing given my penchant for Root Beer.

The Ginger Ale was a good combination of sweet and spicy without leaning to hard in either direction although the ginger kick does seem to fizzle out a little more rapidly than I would like.

Watermelon Cream was one of my favorite flavors and it was executed almost flawlessly. Watermelon is one of those hard flavors to pull off without it tasting like a Jolly Rancher. The flavor here tasted fresh and natural with a wonderful creamy texture with the right amount of carbonation. This is a soda for those hot summer nights sitting on the porch.

Strawberry Rhubarb has a fresh almost juicy strawberry flavor. Its as if your biting into a ripe strawberry and the juices slowly run down your chin. In the background is the unique tart bite of the rhubarb which helps to balance out the drink.

Mandarin Key Lime is Oogave’s answer to the Sprites and Sierra Mists of the world. It is a nice change of pace from the classic lemon and lime flavors. It has a more sweet creamy lime flavor with a touch of citrus bite.

Now seeing how this is cocktail blog lets use some of these in a few drinks.
